Any deterioration in the eye sight can be so gradual that it sometimes goes unnoticed. That is why a regular eye exam is so important and can help give clues to general health as well as eyesight conditions.

In addition to checking for cataracts, glaucoma, colour deficiency and field of vision defects, our Optometrists are able to offer a new retinal scanning technology. This takes a digital of the back of the eye allowing us to record and monitor parts of the retina in a way not possible with conventional instruments.

Our hugely successful Vision Care Plan offers the reassurance of including emergency appointments and further clinical tests as needed.

A small amount is paid each month by direct debit which will cover the cost of an eye examination, and reduce and complete spectacle purchases by 25%. In addition to these benefits our Vision Care Plan patients can also receive 10% discount on any accessories, sunglasses and reglazing of their current frames if desired.

Regular eye examinations are important to check the health of the eyes as well as any refractive errors. It is important to ensure that you are receiving optimum visual performance form the spectacles or contact lenses you are using.
